Review of Haasil (2003) by Sunny . — 03 Jun 2008
The most Underrated Film in the history of Indian Cinema. Very Realistic. Irrfan Khan gives a F******ly amazing performance for which he won all popular awards.
The movie doesn't feature any Expensive Sets, Designer Costumes, Exotic Foreign Locations instead it takes us to the rustic world of student politics in Allahabad. The story & the characters are not larger than life, which makes it more intriguing.
The ending also takes us by surprise.
Any foreigner who hasn't seen an Indian film, I recommend you start with Haasil.
