Review of Groundhog Day (1993) by Thomas P — 08 May 2012
Brilliance. My fav movie of *all time*.
Comedy that touches on human misery and like *true* comedy does, it alleviates some of the sting and brings a beautiful hope. Personally, I floated out of the dollar theatre when I first saw it - w my Bible college friend John - poor guy..
But honestly he felt the same way - we were absolutely rejuvenated w Hope after seeing this. Director Ramis - the ghostbuster w glasses, yeah him - who was inundated w letters saying how much the movie inspired ppl. See the dvd interview! My advice: see it, see it, see it, and make additional return visits..
