Another undiscovered & criminally underrated classic - the recent Dreamgirls was nowhere near as compelling as this. Ileana Douglas (the main character) based her character on Carole King & Matt Dillon channelling Brian Wilson's 'wierd' period is genius - plus the soundtrack is great.
