In order to keep the monster alien octopi at bay, a group of Irish townsfolk must stay drunk at all times (which is nothing out of the ordinary really)...it's premise is akin to the 1990's horror 'Tremors' and its most recent British counterpart 'Attack the Block' in that it doesn't take itself too seriously and focuses more on the fun of the genre rather than the scares.
