Ramin Bahrani is fast becoming one of my favorite directors. The poetic veracity he brings to each of his heartrending slice-of-life stories is unique and entrancing. "Goodbye Solo" explores the growing relationship between a cabbie and his recurring passenger, and the grim pact they make.
It's the sort of movie words don't really do justice.
