Great movie based on true events.
The actual story itself is intriguing and couldn't be better suited for a screenplay. What sets this movie apart is the performance of the entire cast, particularly Matthew McConaughey. Once the shirtless beach beaut he transformed into one of my favorite actors. The movie shows the conflict between capitalism and the pursuit of happiness. The only thing I didn't like is the choice of the movie set which is obviously Thailand even though the story took place in Indonesia.
