Review of Gods of Egypt (2016) by Marc K — 22 Mar 2016

The story of gods and humans working along side each other and discover the value in love, sacrifice and courage.

Due to the ratings and box office catastrophe I almost didn't go to theaters to see this movie, as it turned out, It wasn't that bad at all. It gives a Thor kind of feel but Egypt style. The graphics are great, the story is entertaining and the characters made the movie work. I'm actually not sure why movies like twilight are higher rated? It makes me wonder who's actually rating these movies. I wouldn't say its my favorite or the best but it is entertaining enough to watch once or twice. I would recommend anyone who's into Egyptian mythical stories with a twist of human courage and love. oh and lets not forget the stunning 140 million dollar graphics ;). JMO.
