Review of Go Goa Gone (2013) by Niraj V — 12 May 2013
India's 2nd Zombie movie, and the first Zom-Com, this one is definitely one to watch!
The plot and the story aren't anything new or pathbreaking, but the treatment is very good. I guess, however, that it does lose steam in the latter half and becomes a bit repetitive, but thanks to some fine performances by the cast, you let it slide.
Kunal Khemu steals the show. His comic timing, his screen presence and his dialogue delivery are all just right.
There are many laugh out loud moments in the movie, and one that really stands out is the time where Saif Ali Khan is trying to determine whether Kunal Khemu has been zombified or not, you have to watch it to appreciate the fantastic banter.
Overall, this is a great movie to while away 2 hours of time, and you'll definitely come out of the theatre with a big smile on your face.
Watch it for sure!!!
