Review of Go Goa Gone (2013) by Trouble S — 29 Sep 2013
Pretty ok, in fact surprisingly so. Good comic timing, put together by someone who's (or has hired the right people who) spent enough time on the zombie genre, and it comes up in a couple of decent, well-placed scenes - I'll add a star for the Shaun of the Dead add-in - but overall, the movie's basically fairly loosely assembled, not a very coherent storyline (not that one's really needed) and some interesting new concepts, both origin and fighting.
The music is absolutely brilliant and visual gags reasonably decent - and it doesn't become too self-conscious or too OTT.
