Review of Gilda (1946) by Jonas M — 06 Dec 2007
Rita Hayworth is a sexpot, and she's boiling over. Hayworth plays the ultimate tease with a vulnerable soul. She always takes your breath away, whether it be when she plays with her hair, or when she's playing "Put the Blame on Mame.
" While Hayworth steals every scene, Glenn Ford still manages to remind the viewer that he is there also. The plot is intriguing, and has great noir camera work; but seriously, you only watch it for Hayworth.
