Review of Gilda (1946) by Eric H — 03 Jun 2015
Great film, what more can you say? Fantastic dialogue (some of Cinema History's best), a complex love triangle, and a stunning Rita in her all time most alluring role. More than just a pretty face, in a film noir that's more just a story of past hatreds.
Smoldering and sad mixed together with bitter; the end result forms one of Hollywood's finest screen experiences.
