I say that I have many favorite movies, but this one outweighs all the others. From it's amazing cast, to it's unbelievable script it is top notch. The story spans such a vast amount of time that the daunting 200+ minute running time really doesn't seem bad at all.
If I could recommend ONE movie to someone to watch, this would be it.
