Bleak and moving film about the Chinese cockle pickers drowned in Morcambe Bay in 2004. Stays with the immigrants all the way and doesn't touch on any wider implications but is very human and affecting.
Some great cinematoghraphy (specially as its Digital) and a good soundtrack as well.
