Review of Ghostboat (2006) by David G — 22 Dec 2009
While the story of this made-for-TV thriller shows some promise on paper - a British World War II submarine believed sunk in 1943 reappears after 40 years, bringing some supernatural surprises along with it - the delivery isn't nearly as sound.
They do a good enough job building up the tension and mystery but hardly any of the questions they raise are answered and it leaves you feeling unfulfilled. The acting is fair and the special effects are OK but in the end it all comes off as rather pointless.
