Review of Ghost World (2001) by Jonathan B — 17 Sep 2008
Ghost World is weird, cute, funny and sad movie which is one of the rare films in which you found deep touch of reality. The movie starts as a teenage comedy but until the end a serious tone comes in and the viewer gets a lection of how to solve life's problems and deal with them.
Thora Birch is excellent as Enid, Scarlett Johansson looks a little "off" as Becky but I like Steve Buscemi as 40 - year old loser who actually is not a loser, it's just the society never really understands him.
Small movie with big influence to my heart. Excellent.
