Review of Ghost World (2001) by Florence . — 23 Jan 2011
I saw that "Ghost World" was playing on WGN this morning so it reminded me to pull out my copy on DVD to watch pre-football in a bit. This is perhaps Buscemi's best role outside of "Fargo".
Thora Birch and a young Scarlett Johansson are wonderful as Enid and Becky, two friends obsessed with a pathetic loner (Buscemi). The late Brad Renfro is of note as well as Illeana Douglas who always seems to add quite a bit to any film.
For anyone who missed this 2001 release, it's a classic.
