Its the old cliche what is better , the book , the stage Play or the Film. In this case the comparison is the stage play to the film. In my opinion you cant compare, they are two different entities and stand alone in their own right. They were both excellent - all the acting was superb, and its only the last ten minutes in both that the penny drops . If I was to chose I would prefer to watch the stage play , as the narrators behavior.
