Get on up is a stunningly acted biopic of the legend that is james brown and Chadwick Boseman delivers a powerhouse performance that would of earned a more well known actor an oscar. It lacks some of the key moments in Mr Browns life but makes up for it with top class acting and a great script, not to mention all the beautifully performed musical numbers that remind you of the days when music ment something.
