Review of Gangs of New York (1938) by Black R — 04 Dec 2011
Gangs of New York is a movie about one of the first gangs in New York City. To me, the big highlight of this was Daniel Day Lewis' work, he does the best he can be as one of the best villains of the decade, his acting is a lot like his character in There Will Be Blood, which is the best movie ever made.
I did think DiCaprio's Irish voice sounded kind of fake, compared to everyone else. Isn't Scorsese's best movie, but it sure is great to watch.
