Quite simply a powerhouse of a film, a verbal boxing match that takes one of the most infamous political interviews and keeps us gripped with a utterly compelling string of dialogue. The characters are broad and deep and the tone steeped in anticipation, this is one of the defining Oscar nominations of that film year and it was severely snubbed.
