Review of From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999) by Lotta R — 23 Nov 2008
For fans of the original, it's pretty predictable. I spent most of the time waiting for each person to inevitably get attacked and turn into a vampire, however my anticipation was not for naught. The filmmakers seemed to be saying, "Here it comes, here it comes.
.." before finally letting it happen in a multitude of convoluted, albeit immensely enjoyable ways. The camerawork was also some of the most creative I've seen, which is kind of expected from a Robert Rodriguez or Quentin Tarantino film.
Here, we get both influences.
