Review of Frequency (2000) by Federico P — 03 Feb 2009
Great film. Pity people get either embroiled in stupid time travel 'rules' they made up in a roleplaying session of Star Wars or get hung up on making clever remarks due to their inability to understand anything that so much as tries to straddle two genres.
It's very well-acted and keeps you guessing until the very end, where everything comes together in a satisfying manner. Some great acting in this film, particularly on Dennis Quaid's end. This movie manages to make time travel look believable.
Also, a great, great father-son movie.
Overall, great job. This could have been stupid and campy but it was awesome.
