Review of Freedom Writers (2007) by Sheila C — 09 Dec 2011
Inspiring & Revolutionary.
This is the perfect example of how a message should be conveyed to the audience. This movie even finds the right balance between the fun and emotional moments. And it was Hilary swank all the way. I seriously doubt anyone could have done a better job than her. She portrays her role to the full extent with grit and determination, well supported by the actors who play the teenagers whose lives are captured authentically. This is definitely one of those movies which makes your heart feel heavy at the end, maybe because it is a true story.
Now, I'm going to read 'The Diary of Anne Frank'.
