Review of Frankenstein's Army (2013) by Rich I — 26 Aug 2013
Richard Raaphorst created a stunner of a movie that had everyone at Frighfest cheering when they try to 'remove the helmet'. The monsters are great, especially the 'R2D2 from hell'.
The POV camera angle takes a little getting use to at the outset as it's rather shaky, but when that's out of the way it's a seriously good film.
During Q&A after the screening at Frightfest Richard Raaphorst suggested he may look at doing a sequal to Frankenstein's Army, but I'd rather see this as a stand alone film.
This was certainly in my top 6 films at Frightfest.
