Ordinary girl with talent, passion and anger issues fights the Hollywood sex slave system and loses. The reality was worse, but obstacles exist for everyone, sometimes to know when to let go and not provoke more problems.
ergo alcoholism made it worse. The movie's good but downplays significant points. Perhaps real ppl didnt belong in Hollywood. Is it diff. now?
