Review of Flowers in the Attic (2014) by Shawn R — 21 Jan 2014
Who knew Ellen Burstyn's character would NOT be the most despicable one? Too placid even with some craft to it - good set design and period feel - but it needed to get trashier. It needed someone like John Waters or even Douglas Sirk to make this into a gaudy spectacle, and the ingredients are all there.
And the incest. ALL the incest. Sigh.
