Review of Flirting (1988) by Ann C — 16 Feb 2008
Though you wouldn't think it, this is a great film. Don't be mislead by the cover or genre. It's excellent. It's a tale of adolescent, interracial love in 50s era Australia. The story and music are great but the real treat is the acting.
Noah Taylor does a superb job as Danny and you can't help but feel a connection to him. Thandie Newton and Nicole Kidman also handle their parts excellently.
