Review of Five Dolls for an August Moon (1970) by Chris M — 20 Jul 2008
It certainly looks beautiful and there's some fun to be had, especially with Edwige Fenech gyrating around like a monkey on acid wearing those outragious 60's costumes stolen from the Rich Man's Frug set on Sweet Charity.
Sadly, the script is dreadful, even more so than most Italian horror films and the whole film is rather boring. Still, it's worth looking at maybe once for Bava fans.
