Great film! While the setting is a particular subculture the film does an incredible job of making the characters relatable and human. This is a gripping human drama and compelling portrait of the complicated relationship between children and their parents.
Elvire Emmanuel and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II each give incredible performances in this father - daughter drama. Good film making.
