Review of Fine, Totally Fine (2008) by Tyy T — 15 Nov 2008

I've never seen a funny Japanese comedy, and so much is often lostg in translation, but there's a lot to be laughed at here. It's very awkward laughing, as the joke is really in the very human flaws of the characters, all of whom have their own social problems, hence the 'fine, totally fine' as none of them are really fine at all.

But you find yourself thinking 'well is anybody completely fine?', making the characters flaws both sympathetic and laughable. The horror movie freak does privide some proper laughs tho.
