Review of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005) by Mike M — 16 Jun 2011
Chock full of ultra fluid, hyper stylized, physics defying, and kinetically choreographed action sequences conceived from completely unrestrained imaginations. No other film in history offers it so effectively.
Edited to leave you breathless, but the imagery remains easy to follow. All brought to life with some of the best CG the film industry has ever churned out. This movie is an absolutely beautiful ballet of PG-13 conflict and abstract combat.
The action IS art.
