Review of Felicity: An American Girl Adventure (2005) by Ashley H — 11 May 2006
This movie is great for little girls to watch or for any girl grew up with the American girl stories. It's a great story in historical context which helps children understand how our country was born, as well as how girls lived at this time in history. So family friendly - it has great morls for children to watch in movies. Also helps to understand a bit about the divisions that politics bring among people, and how we love each other regardless of differing opinions.
On the other side, acting is occasionally predictably TV-movie cheesy ... a few cringe-worthy sappy moments, and Felcity's intense love for a horse is obsessive.
