Review of Family Business (1989) by Victor L — 23 Aug 2007
:rotten: Connery and Hoffman are excellent actors, the main trouble with this movie is a weak script where there's never the necessary action to get my interest and anything good happens. The film has not importance and Broderick performance is as bad as usual.
Dustin Hoffman can't be Connery's son, poor Connery he is not much older than Hoffman and Lumet had this two legendary stars in his hands and he didn't know how to squeeze their talents. Tasteless film.
