If I was not a fan of the books, this movie would be confusing as best. It seemed to short to really develop any plot that was even slightly complex. This movie took the absolute basics of the book. No details made it into this movie.
The basic plot points are there but the entire beginning to different. I would watch it once just so you understand what the heck just happened, but never again. I hope they remake this and are more faithful to the book.
