Review of Failan (2001) by Angie M — 24 Nov 2009
This movie affected me. A fairly slobbish gangster marries a mail-order bride to get her a visa, and then gets out of prison to discover that she has died before he could ever meet her, or rather he only caught a glimpse of her once and didn't know it.
His connection to her as he tries to figure this out is very touching. Min-sik Choi is awesome.
