Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Derek J — 15 Mar 2008
Both a wonderful realisation of the novel and a beautiful artefact in its own right. Truffaut's film has a gorgeous, pop-art inspired aestheitic and is simultaneously suitably chilling and unnerving (shots like those unsettling reverse-action takes help).
