Review of Facing the Giants (2006) by Nick S — 19 Jan 2009
An inspiring and touching story of a football coach who thinks he's a failure at life, displays faith in the Lord, and sees what the Lord can do with a life fully yielded to Him. Though this was a great success story where God made everything turn out the way the characters hoped, it is obvious that in reality God works according to His own glory for our good.
We will receive what is truly the best for us, even if it's not want we want at the moment. My favorite line from the movie goes like this: "If we win, we will praise God. If we lose, we will praise God.
" Either way, God is worthy of all praise!!
