Review of Extraordinary Tales (2015) by Qïnaed V — 28 Jun 2016
Not a lot of Poe fans, judging by the ratings, or worse, too many Hipster Purists who wanted verbatim adaptations of dear, old Edgar Allan's stories. I thought the narrative intertwining the Tales was pretty endearing, and the ending, assuming Poe's ultimate fear would be to be forgotten; that is most likely the deepest, darkest phobia dwelling in the mind of any writer, authoress, poet, author, poetess, and so on.
So raise your spirits, both liquors & moods, in honor of this hallowed, US American storyteller, and watch with closed doors and an open mind.
