Review of Excalibur (1981) by Sylvain F — 26 Jan 2008
Chivalry is not only a entertainment theme or a hobby, it is a way of life. Boorman understood it better than anyone making a movie not about what knights did (fight, and so...) but about what they were.
A lot of wisdom, a lot of magic, and a dream; if only that only true king would come back, the world would be a better place, a place where justice, honor, brotherhood and hope have a meaning. The best movie ever, and that's all there is to it! ;-).
