Review of Evolution (2001) by Lydia K — 09 Aug 2008
This took a while for me to review. it was a long haul waiting for all the awesomeness to sink in.
Duchovny and Jones seem to be a comedic-duo made in heaven! Scott was a nice bonus to the hilarious chaos, though Julianne Moore's character wasn't much help in the humor factor, her strict, head-strong presence made an absolutely unavoidable target for jokes. Evolution is one of the very few remaining comedies that actually sticks to the plot and yet does not let up on the hilarity of it. Very well done and thought out, this film is going straight to my favorites. And trust me, it takes a lot from a movie to make it there. ;).
