Like most of Linklater's movies (I'm excluding School of Rock and Bad News Bears) that really have his imprint on them, this is equally excellent.
There's a lot here, but it is not meant to be life-changing. It's a slice of life. Like the Before trilogy, Waking Life, obviously Dazed and Confused, and Boyhood--this is a slice filled with so much.
And like Dazed, watch this cast and see how many wind up being genuine stars.
A great film. Worth seeing.
