Review of End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones (2003) by John I — 28 Aug 2008
An informative history of the Ramones from their beginning all the way to the end, "End of the Century" thrills for the first 60+ minutes before sputtering to an anticlimactic ending and the all too real, yet slow decline of the band's creativity, success, and personal health.
Except for Johnny Ramone, who appears to have changed little, if at all, either physically or mentally in the past 30+ years. It's quite remarkable.
