Review of Elvis: That's the Way It Is (1970) by Dakosta . — 27 Jul 2009
As far as concert movies go. nobody could do em like the king. it can be a little bitter sweet. sadly because you are seeing the king at the early stages of his downfall. he is noticeably doped up and exhausted.
that doesn't stop him from belting out classics like "suspicious minds" and the "wonder of you" its well shot and you really feel the atmosphere of what it would of been like too see the king.
this film will always have a place in my heart, because without fail it is played early hours of the morning every time I go to my friends parties. a classic piece of presley.
