Review of Elite Squad (2007) by Jörgen W — 21 Sep 2008
Its a movie that shows the reality of Brazilian favelas, trying not to entertain, but to bring the spectator into a moral questionament.
Its a movie for people who likes to think, not just to receive it done.
You do not have the nice and good cops in a side, and the bad and corrupted in the other.
You have people in real life, with real and super high preassure, with few and difficult choices.
Some scenes are very strong, so if you do not like violence (much worst than Tarantino's, cause they are realistic), just dont go, or you will not sleep.
