Review of El Dorado (1966) by Ryan F — 24 Nov 2009
This ties with "The Thin Man" as my favorite movie! It was the first Duke movie I saw, and that may be why I like it so much. But the acting is great (Robert Mitchum was a great actor), and there is plenty of action and gun play.
It's also very funny in parts. Most consider "Rio Bravo" to be better, but I prefer "El Dorado." It's faster paced and Mitchum seals the deal.
