This was a great movie. I know a lot of people hated on this but if you followed Hector Lavoe's History or knew of the era this took place in you would agree that the portrayal was correct. It was interesting to see how the director chose to film this movie to give us a glimpse into his life.
If you are one who needs tons of action or needs tons of high tech effects to enjoy a movie then this is not for you. This was filmed as if it were in the era. I loved it! (even though it was saddening).
