Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Abbie T — 17 Jun 2018
I thought that simply because it's not all extreme action it wasn't a movie to pay much attention to. Until I began to watch it, the first part left me needing to watch more for pure suspense, the second part is where you suss out the intertwining story lines (a very very clever construct done there), and the third part is the most emotional as you see the end of each storyline, and you've had just enough time to build attachments to characters by that point.
It's an incredible watch.
