Review of Dressed to Kill (1980) by Alexandra L — 11 Oct 2007
Unlike many critics - I don't really find 'Dressed to Kill' that bad. Indeed, I find it the masterpiece of de Palma. It would be too superficial to say this film as a rip off of, say, Psycho.
It is so sort of a tribute to the Hitchcock style. The voyeuristic atmosphere is nicely crafted - editing / camerawork is really nice. Not bad!!
