Review of Downloading Nancy (2008) by Tony O — 03 Apr 2010

The good thing about writing reviews for fun instead of for money is that you can keep it real with no fear of losing a job. To me a lot of respected critics may be afraid to align themselves with this film simply because of the nature of it.

This was an exceptionally done film with probably the best acting that I have seen in a couple of years. If you take the movie Hard Candy and add some depth and restraint to it then you get something like this.

This is certainly not a pleasant or happy film but the effort that went into cannot be questioned.
