A conventional and cliche but effective atmosphere discarded in a simple story that has a ridiculous plot twist and to tell the truth it never convinces you and what sells as suspense and horror ends up being frankly a lie because the film never reaches a good level to make you want to stay until the end.
Of all the cast Uma Thurman is the best and no doubt you wonder what she's doing there, while AnnaSophia Robb disappoints.
